DAY 1
MOREMI
Your safari begins in Maun, where you connect with a light aircraft flight that whisks you straight into the wild. Touch down at Xakanaxa airstrip in the Moremi Game Reserve, one of Botswana’s richest wildlife areas.
This afternoon, you’ll head out on your first game drive, exploring a landscape of floodplains, lagoons and woodlands alive with elephant, buffalo, antelope, and the predators that follow. As the sun sets, return to camp for dinner under the stars and your first night immersed in the sounds of the African bush.

MOREMI
Spend two full days uncovering the magic of Moremi, one of Africa’s finest game-viewing destinations. Morning and afternoon drives reveal ever-changing habitats: papyrus-fringed channels, golden grasslands, and shaded woodlands where lions, leopards, and wild dogs often roam. The birdlife here is outstanding, with kingfishers, bee-eaters and herons a constant presence along the waterways. At night, fall asleep to the distant call of lions or the laughter of hyenas echoing across the floodplains.

MABABE
After breakfast, journey northeast, tracing the waterways of Khwai. Pause for a tranquil mokoro ride along lily-dotted channels, before continuing into the Mababe region. En route, visit the famous Dombo Hippo Pools, where hippos wallow and crocodiles bask on the banks. Arrive at your private camp set along the Mababe River, an exclusive wilderness where few vehicles roam.

MABABE
With two nights in the Mababe Private Reserve, you’ll enjoy the rare privilege of exploring a vast tract of wilderness with very limited vehicle numbers. Game drives, by day and by night, reveal a raw landscape where elephants gather, wild dogs hunt, and lions patrol the floodplains. When conditions allow, step out on foot with your guide for a walking safari, experiencing the bush from a new perspective. This is Botswana at its wildest and most authentic.

DAY 7
CENTRAL CHOBE
Today’s journey takes you north through the open expanse of the Mababe Depression, a remnant of the ancient paleo-Lake Makgadikgadi. The scenery shifts dramatically, with fossilised riverbeds, sand ridges and sweeping grasslands along the way. Wildlife adapts cleverly here - you may spot cheetah on the hunt, elephants moving in herds, or lions resting in the shade of acacias. Arrive in Central Chobe, settling into camp in time for sunset.

CENTRAL CHOBE
The legendary Savuti is your stage for the next two days. Known for its volcanic outcrops, vast open plains and the unpredictable Savuti Channel, this region offers some of Africa’s most dramatic wildlife encounters. Lions here are famously bold, sometimes even taking on elephants, while leopards and wild dogs also thrive. Game drives explore the heart of this dynamic ecosystem, and you’ll also walk to ancient San rock art sites hidden among the hills. Nights are spent around the campfire, reliving the day’s encounters under a star-filled sky.
