DAY 1
DAY 1 KIGALI
Upon your arrival at Kigali Airport, you will be greeted by a driver who will be holding a signboard bearing your name. You will then be transferred from the airport to the Kigali Serena Hotel. The remainder of the afternoon and evening will be at your leisure to recover from your long flights.

DAY 2 VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before being collected for your transfer to the Virunga Conservation area, a journey of approximately 2.5 hours. Along the way, take the opportunity to explore local markets, villages, and communities, offering a genuine glimpse into the daily life and culture of the area. On arrival at Volcanoes National Park, visits the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund a state of the art exhibits that tell the story of 55+ years of gorilla conservation.

DAY 2
DAY 3
DAY 3 KIGALI
Today offers one of Africa’s most extraordinary experiences: tracking endangered mountain gorillas in Volcanoes National Park. After an early breakfast, head to park headquarters for a briefing and group assignment. Trekking conditions vary depending on where your allocated gorilla family is located, with the journey taking anywhere from 2 to 6 hours through forested terrain.
Once located, you’ll spend an awe-inspiring hour quietly observing the gorillas in their natural habitat – a rare and emotional wildlife encounter.
After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch before transferring back to Kigali for your overnight stay,

DAY 7
TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, continue south towards the Tanzania border and then on to Arusha for lunch. After lunch, you will depart Arusha and pass through the Maasai Steppe, filled with picturesque African villages and coffee and banana plantations. Arrive at Tarangire National Park, enter the park, and begin exploring with a game drive as you slowly make your way to the lodge arriving for dinner.
Tarangire is most famous for its giant baobabs, a network of swamps, and large herds of elephants rumoured to be the largest population in Tanzania. It is less known for a yearly secret migration where masses of wildlife are drawn to the Tarangire River during the dry season as it remains the last viable water source for miles.

LAKE ELEMENTAITA
Leaving the Masai Mara after breakfast, travel across the ‘breadbasket’ of Kenya, where acres of wheat and barley dominate the landscape. Lunch will be a picnic stop en route to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive at Lake Nakuru in the afternoon and head out on a game drive. Known for its birdlife, the park, with the right climatic conditions, offers the possibility to view thousands of flamingoes feeding in the shallow alkaline lake.
While not a large national park, Lake Nakuru is incredibly scenic and has several unique wildlife sightings that make it a worthwhile visit, including good chances of finding black and white rhinos and the endangered Rothschild Giraffe.
