DAY 1
CHOBE NATIONAL PARK
Upon arrival in Kasane, Botswana, you'll be warmly welcomed and transferred to Muchenje Safari Lodge, perched on an escarpment overlooking the Chobe River. After settling into your thatched chalet, enjoy sweeping views of the floodplains below. Later this afternoon, set out on your first game drive into the western side of Chobe National Park - home to large elephant herds, buffalo, and predators. Return to the lodge for sunset drinks and a hearty dinner, all with the backdrop of the sun sinking over Namibia’s Caprivi Strip.

CHOBE NATIONAL PARK
Rise early for a morning game drive through woodlands and open plains teeming with wildlife. This less-crowded corner of Chobe offers rich sightings without the congestion of the park’s eastern sections. After brunch, rest at the lodge or enjoy the pool. In the afternoon, venture out again – this time for a boat cruise on the Chobe River, ideal for photographing elephants crossing the water and hippos bobbing in the shallows. Sundowners on the river are a trip highlight. Return for dinner under the stars and stories by the campfire.

CHOBE NATIONAL PARK
This morning offers an opportunity to visit the nearby Muchenje village to learn about Botswana’s local culture and rural life, guided by lodge staff from the community. After lunch and a rest, enjoy your final Chobe activity - perhaps another river cruise or a late afternoon game drive with sundowners overlooking the water. Chobe is renowned for its elephant population, but you may also spot lion, sable antelope, or even wild dog. End your stay with a farewell dinner and uninterrupted stargazing over the African bush.

VICTORIA FALLS
After a final early morning safari in Chobe, return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, transfer by road across the Botswana–Zimbabwe border to the iconic town of Victoria Falls. Settle into the tranquil Shongwe Oasis, a boutique lodge surrounded by gardens and palm trees.
This afternoon depart on a Zambezi Sunset Cruise. Gently cruise along the Zambezi River, a superb way to relax and cap off another day in Africa. There are great photo opportunities against the African sunset with wildlife such as hippos, crocodiles, and elephants often spotted along the banks of the river.

DAY 5
VICTORIA FALLS
Today you’ll explore one of the world’s Seven Natural Wonders on a guided walking tour of Victoria Falls. Known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya – “The Smoke That Thunders” – the falls are at their most powerful from February to July, but awe-inspiring year-round. Wander rainforest paths while rainbows form in the mist. Return to Shongwe Oasis at your leisure. The afternoon is yours to relax by the pool or visit the lodge’s elevated yoga deck. This evening, you may wish to head into town to enjoy the local cuisine.

VICTORIA FALLS
Today is at your leisure. Choose from a range of optional activities: such as a scenic helicopter flight over the falls, white-water rafting, cultural village visit, or adrenaline experiences like bungee jumping or zip-lining. For a gentler day, explore the town’s markets or unwind with a massage at the lodge. Victoria Falls offers something for everyone. As the sun sets, consider heading out for dinner at one of the town’s famed eateries such as The Three Monkeys or Dusty Road.

HWANGE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred by road to Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe’s largest and most diverse wildlife area. Continue to the remote and elegant Sable Valley Camp, known for its luxurious tents overlooking a busy waterhole. This afternoon, set out on your first Hwange game drive, guided by expert trackers. Hwange is famed for its large elephant herds, lions, and rare species like roan antelope and painted dogs. Dinner is served with wildlife sounds surrounding the camp.

HWANGE NATIONAL PARK
Start your morning with a guided walking safari, one of the most thrilling ways to discover the bush. Learn about tracks, plants, and smaller creatures that are often missed from the vehicle. Later, spend time in Sable Valley’s photographic hide, ideally placed at eye level with elephants and buffalo that frequent the lagoon. This afternoon's game drive may reveal more surprises – from relaxed giraffes to elusive leopards. Cap off the day with drinks by the fire and a chef-prepared dinner.
