AKAGERA NATIONAL PARK

AKAGERA NATIONAL PARK
Today, embrace the wonders of Akagera National Park with both a morning and afternoon game drive, complemented by a serene boat ride on Lake Ihema, offering breathtaking views of the resident waterfowl. Conclude the day with a delightful dinner and a restful overnight stay at the lodge. NYUNGWE NATIONAL PARK
Set off on an exciting journey as you drive to Butare, with a stop in Nyanza en-route to explore the ancient palace of Mwami, a revered Rwandan King. After lunch in Butare, resume your voyage to Nyungwe National Park. Traverse through the lush forest, arriving in the late afternoon.

NYUNGWE NATIONAL PARK

Rise early for the drive to Ruhengeri, gateway to Volcanoes National Park and gorilla trekking. VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK
In the early morning, embark on a scenic drive to Ruhengeri, the gateway to Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park. Upon arrival, you’ll receive a detailed briefing about the Gorilla trek before setting out on foot in search of your designated gorilla family. Once located, you'll have a captivating hour to observe the gorillas’ natural behavior and interactions. After this unforgettable experience, trek back to the park entrance, where your driver will be waiting to transfer you back to your lodge for a well-deserved lunch and afternoon to relax.
