This classic Conservancy Safari showcases two distinct ecosystems, guided by expert trackers, with accommodation in two luxurious bush camps. Spanning over 90,000 acres, the conservancy offers an exclusive and uncrowded setting for exceptional wildlife viewing. It is home to Kenya’s largest population of black rhino, as well as abundant elephant, cheetah, lion, leopard, and a wide variety of plains game.
Located on the equator, Ol Pejeta enjoys spectacular views of Mount Kenya and is just a 30-minute drive from Nanyuki airstrip. From here, your journey continues with a scenic flight over the Rift Valley to the Masai Mara, where you will stay at Kicheche Mara North Camp.
Activities include game drives in custom-built safari vehicles and the opportunity to enjoy guided walking safaris. The safari concludes with a morning flight back to Nairobi.

DAY 1
NAIROBI
On arrival, you will be met and transferred to the Nairobi Serena Hotel. The remainder of the afternoon is yours at leisure.
A member of the Leading Hotels of the World, the Nairobi Serena enjoys a location on the edge of Central Park and the City Centre. Shaded by the glorious Jacaranda, Bougainvillea and Acacia trees and surrounded by lush, manicured gardens, the hotel provides a peaceful and luxurious retreat to travellers.

3 & 4
LAIKIPIA PLATEAU
Ol Pejeta Conservancy offers a wide range of ways to experience its diverse landscapes and wildlife, from traditional game drives to guided bush walks and bush meals. You can also visit the chimpanzee sanctuary and learn about the conservancy’s role as a leader in wildlife protection and sustainable land management.
Ol Pejeta is renowned for its conservation initiatives, including being home to the last two remaining northern white rhinos. Gain insight into anti-poaching efforts and ongoing wildlife monitoring programs, with opportunities to learn about predator research involving lions and other large carnivores.

LAIKIPIA PLATEAU
After breakfast, transfer to Wilson Airport for your light aircraft flight to Nanyuki. You will be met at the airstrip by a Kicheche vehicle, which will transfer you to camp, where a delicious lunch will be waiting. Depending on what you feel like doing, you can either head out on your first afternoon game drive and explore this pristine wilderness, abundant with wildlife or lay by the pool or enjoy a siesta. Enjoy pre-dinner drinks around a fire before dinner.

DAY 2
MASAI MARA
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Nanyuki airstrip for your onward flight to the Masai Mara. The drive from the Mara airstrip to camp is your first game drive, and wildlife is often seen en route. Settle into camp and enjoy an al fresco lunch before heading out in the afternoon for a game drive to explore the Masai Mara National Reserve. Return to camp before sundown to enjoy pre-dinner drinks around the campfire and a candlelit dinner in the main dining area.

MASAI MARA
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives.
The Masai Mara is big cat heaven, with very healthy numbers of lions, leopards and a population of around 125 adult cheetahs, making them another relatively common sighting. In addition, to the big cats, the Masai Mara is also an excellent destination for sightings of smaller cats. Kicheche Mara North is a small, exclusive camp located in the private Mara North Conservancy, bordering the Maasai Mara Reserve. Established with a focus on low-impact tourism and exceptional guiding, Kicheche has built a strong reputation for offering an intimate, authentic safari experience away from the crowds.
